There's always one. One tree that has to show off, has to stand up and stand out and lecture the others on how best to survive Winter. Recently-cropped stubble-field with low sunshine and with a weather-laden sky coming in behind.
About Ian Hutson
I live on my narrowboat 'Cardinal Wolsey' on England's canals. I occasionally wrestle with love-struck badgers but always enjoy the countryside anyway. Dog person not a cat person. Dogs and cats both know this. Not convinced that I am a member of the Human species. There are similarities in shape and size, but that's as far as the comparison goes. I like vegetables.
